It has been a month since my last post and I am still working on the game “Thief”. I have never in my entire gaming career have never played a game like this before. It has been over a month since I started and I am only about halfway through the game. Usually when I play a game, I start in story mode and I goes through the motions of becoming and experiencing that characters physical and emotional ups and downs. But mostly just to have fun. After I beat the game I usually purchase the strategy guide book in order to find all the hidden treasures, and every of upgrade possible in order to get 100% completion.
However this game was completely different. I am playing in story mode to start however, I am following the step-by-step instructions that are followed in the strategy guide. I am doing this is because when I played the first chapter of the game I was running around in circles trying to find treasures to steal and because the level was so big I kept on getting lost which led to me being frustrated. Having the guidebook takes away the guesswork of taking the left path or the right path. It does not take away of the rich experience of going to the game at all. It just makes it easier for me to take that left path, steal the treasure and come out on the opposite side of the right path. Without being seen by guards and without losing any health.
I am without question enjoying the game to its fullest even now I am using the guidebook to guide me through the shadows and plundering all its jewels. It has taken me quite longer to play the game and I know that I might not completed it until the end of next month but I am looking forward to the experience. The next game I hope to play is Batman Arkham Knight for the PS4. I did start the game a few weeks ago and have played a few missions and I cannot wait completed. It is like my friends say, a great game, and I look forward to enjoying it. Has anyone played the new Lego Marvel’s Avengers? After I beat Batman that is next on my list of games to play.
